I finally took the leap of calling it version 1.0. I'll be going with the linux model from here on out, 1.0.x will be bugfixes, 1.1.x will be the development tree. Things will become increasing complex as I add in the conversion functionality from legacy standard installs to the rpm version.

This is a network installer script I kind of hacked together at plesk to do a ximian style installation on a fresh server. The idea was to have this resolve all the dependencies on a server, so we didn't have to play hide and go seek for on all the RPM's (apache, mod_ssl, etc).
If you've never used a ximian style installation script (also used by the
nessus, and opennms projects), it is a simple, one line command that will fetch and install all the necessary components for you. Ximian is a bit fancier than the rest, since they have a full X gui for the install. This is pretty much overkill in my opinion for a plesk installation. Besides, you're all probably doing this like me, from the command line, without an X server running.

This is a network based PSA installer version 1.0. It will attempt to
retrieve dependency files through Ximian Red Carpet, and
ftp.plesk.com. If you have these files stored on your
local server, you can overriding these settings with
these commands
export PLESK_SERVER=<your plesk distro server>
export PLESK_PATH=<path to files on your PSA server>

Installation Instructions
Install your server, this is designed at this time to run on a clean server. Installation type doesn't really matter, I've tested this against Server, Desktop, Laptop, etc builds.
Log in as root
Paste in one of the commands outlined below
Email me if it breaks!
The latest updated rpm's will be downloaded an installed by the red-carpet command line util automatically.
