Maintainer ART is a Prometheus Group, LLC laboratory. My name is Scott Shinn, and I am the Director and Chief Scientist of the ART laboratory, a founder of Plesk, Inc. (acquired by sw-soft/parallels in 2003), and the worlds foremost Digital Turtlist. I created ART as a means to explore the best solutions for building our engineering knowhow into software that anyone can install. This site serves as my springboard for new technologies, a personal blog, gallery and a community building site. My Resume(likely out of date!) About the Archives This is probably why you are really here, at ART we maintain the [atomic] yum archive; RPM's for Fedora, CentOS, and Red Hat server environments. That means packages like PHP, MySQL, ClamAV, and Spamassassin. In general I have focused these efforts on supporting the Plesk community. However by design packages in the [atomic] channel are first built to the vendors standards (CentOS, Fedora, Red Hat), and second to integrate with Plesk. In general, Plesk is not a requirement, and any software that complies with the vendors standards should work with Atomic packages. Our other channel is atomic secured linux (ASL), a subscription only yum channel that contains our unified security suite. ASL is a combination of security strategies to create a multi-tiered defense for for web application hosting environments.
