I'm sorry about the wait on this one, when I finally got down to working on it, it only took a few minutes to make. For some reason I thought I hadn't done all the streamlining work on the backend to put that one together quickly. This is a very important update for those of you that aren't runnning Atomic Secured Linux (ASL), as it resolves a number of known high-risk security issues. Available in the [App-Vault] channel now.
Once the rpm is installed, you will need to update each instance of phpBB manually (an ugly process I know).
1) in each domain, go to the administrative panel (domain.com/forums), select back up the database
2)in PSA, delete that copy of phpBB from the domain, and reinstall.
3) from the phpBB admin interface, restore
Its possible that larger backups will not be able to be restored through the admin interface, and in my case I had to restore the ART forums (about 8mb) thorugh mysql from a shell. Only registered users can write comments.
